Just under a year in the making, CREDITS celebrates the diverse energy and personalities of the global women’s skate community directed by Shari White. With a talented cast led by three underground favorites — Una Farrar, Breana Geering, and Fabiana Delfino — the film highlights the unique, individual style and expression of a group of friends that skate, hang and travel together. Other featured riders, Beatrice Domond, Cher Strauberry, Clara Solar, Poppy Olsen, Helena Long, Adelaide Norris, Dayana Young and director Shari White herself.

Es ist schon ne Weile her, dass n ganzes „Crew Video“ von Berliner Skateboarderinnen zu sehen war und dann kommt es auch gleich richtig dicke.
Linda Ritterhoff, ursprünglich aus Bremen, skatet jetzt über Berliner Asphalt seit ich glaube zehn Jahren? Und hält seit dem auch die Mädelsbande irgendwie zusammen. Sie ist 7 Tage die Woche auf dem Rollbrett unterwegs und hat sich diesen Sommer hintergeklemmt, 48 (!!) Fahrerinnen vor die Linse zu bekommen und das Ergebnis lässt das Skater_innenherz echt mal höher schlagen.
Wer hartes Trickgemosche erwartet, klickt rüber zu Youtube und schaut sich Tricktips mit Nyjah in Funktionskleidung an… Wer aber n Video sehen will, was genau das zeigt, was Skateboarding eigentlich ausmachen sollte, der ist bei „Berlin Grrrollt“ genau richtig.
Wir waren bei der Videopremiere und es war großartig zu sehen, wie jeder Trick, egal ob basic oder krasser Scheiss, einfach immer und von allen gefeiert wurde.

SMT BERLIN STREET RACE
The Team Challenge
presented by Blue TomatoGet together in teams of two. You‘ll be given 3 spots and a list of tasks that you have to complete and film everything of it. Which tasks you do or or at which of the three spots, is up to you. Not all tasks have to be completed, but the more tasks you complete, the more points you get!
The tasks and the points for them:
+ 5 Do an Oldschool Trick!
+ 2 Hug a stranger!
+ 5 Land an Ollie (at least 20cm high) holding a Coffee mug (or a mug with lemonade), without spilling anything!
+ 10 Do a line with at least 3 Tricks!
+ 3 … for each additional trick in this line
+ 8 Do 3 different kinds of a Shuvit!
+ 5 Moonwalk after a landed Trick!
+ 10 Do a crooked grind to noseslide (if you’re pro – do it to Tail)!
Ollie over at least 1 person! Each and every additional person counts 2 extra points.
+ 20 Complete all tasks
+ 10 Video submitted as the first teamAlisa was still injured and Vanessa fought hard with not spilling the lemonade, but both gave everything and packed some extra material. Vanessa definitely makes the most beautiful moonwalk. See you next time.
It’s nice that Berlin women* also took part, like here the „Team Shreddies“, consisting of Kira, Lisa, Louisa and Pernilla. Beautiful oldschool action!
The two Argentineans, Melisa and Aldana, have found an translator for the tasks and have driven the whole distance with their suitcases, but they wanted to take part in this event absolutely. The Oli with the lemonade is damn gross, unfortunately it was not an open cup. Damn!
Nevertheless – a fabulous third place. Congratulations Ladies!Indy from Holland and Sarah from Belgium, could have used someone to translate as well, because they did some of the tasks at spots that weren’t part of the event. But the other participants decided that we should still give them half the points at the wrong spots. They also submitted their video as the first team and were able to catapult themselves far forward. Congratulations on 2nd place!
Team „Speed Radio“ scores not only with great music, but also with the longest line and a lot of fun – and brings the sunshine directly into your living room. Well-deserved, 1st place and thus the winner* of the first SMT Street Race presented by Blue Tomato. Nice that you took part, it was a pleasure for us!

Jennifer haut nen Skatepart raus
Jennifer Schneeweiß kommt aus Göttingen, rollt im Görls Rock’n’Roll Skateboarding e.V., wurde 2017 Deutsche Meisterin, 2018 Fizemeisterin und ist auch im Perspektivkader des Olympiateams, für 2020.
Das absurde, niemand kannte die zielstrebige Skaterin vorher so richtig, obwohl sie schon gute zehn Jahre auf dem Brett steht.
Jetzt mit dem Olympiateam kommt sie auch endlich mal in den Genuss, andere Spots in anderen Ländern zu skaten und jede Menge andere Skateboarderinnen kennen zu lernen. „Schon cool“ findet sie. Finden wir auch. Zeit, für nen schmucken Skatepart und da kommt er auch schon:

Der Clip vom Agora Girls Jam (Spanien) ist online und es ist unfassbar wie viele bei der Spottour und dem Contest einfach mal dabei waren – Rund 50 Ladies waren bei dem Event am Start. Ohne Worte, einfach großartig!

„Please don’t grab my Boob!“ heisst der neue Wahnsinnsclip der u.a. Lizzie Armanto, Nora Vasconcellos, Lacey Baker, Samarria Brevard, Allysha Le, Nicole Hause, Brighton Zeuner, Yndiara Asp und noch einige mehr zeigt.
Ein wirklich großartiges Video das tolles Skateboarding, von tollen Frauen zeigt und sie damit zu großen Vorbildern für alle macht. -
Get Set Go! 2018
Heute fand in Malmö, im Skatepark Bryggeriet, wieder der Get Set Go! Women’s Skateboardcontest statt.
Es war auf jeden Fall das Jahr mit dem übelsten Starterinnenfeld. Quasi ein Who is Who der europäischen Frauen Skateboardszene. Im Finale fanden sich Lucy Adams (UK), Andrea Benitez (ES), Sarah De Laet (BE), Candy Jacobs (NL), Tonje Pederson (Norwegen), Eugenia Ginepro (Argentinien), Emma Fastesson Lindgren (SE) und Lea Schairer von „zu Hause“.
Ihr gelang auch, was bisher noch keiner Starterin aus Deutschland gelang, sie landete locker aus der Hüfte auf Platz 2:Wir gratulieren allen 25 (!!) Starterinnen und bedanken uns für diesen tollen Event.

Über Kate müssen wir uns nicht mehr unterhalten…oder doch? Habt ihr geschlafen die letzten Jahre?
Na gut. Kate ist 26, kommt aus Moskau, ballert derbe Flips raus und überspringt dabei gefühlt ihre eigene Körpergröße.
Man kann ja von einer gewissen Schuhmarke halten was man will, aber die haben sich in den letzten zwei Jahren einfach mal die weltbesten Skateboarderinnen gecasht und Kate, ist definitiv eine davon – und diese Schuhfirma pusht seine Fahrerinnen – also alles richtig gemacht, von beiden Seiten her.
