März 2012 kommt das erste Teil an den Start

Carla hat einen mini Roadtrip nach Osnabrück organisiert und zum Abschluß gibt es nen Workshop in der hiesigen Skatehalle. Dieser ist kostenlos, der Halleneintritt beläuft sich wohl auf 4€
Wer noch Fragen dazu hat, kann sich vertrauensvoll an CARLA selbst wenden.

Announcing “gro Experience Tour”
– Activating females through experience –
BLOOMINGTON, Indiana (May 26, 2011) – X Games cut out girls skateboard vert recently, following Dew Action Sports Tour and other events removing the female competitions here in the US. Sports programs for girls and youth are still disappearing. Now more than ever, there is a need to reach out and provide activities and opportunities to get girls active and to provide positive goals to work towards.
Girls Riders Organization is setting out on its 6th annual national tour, gro Experience. From New York to Los Angeles, gro will be providing festivals of empowerment for females of all ages through action sports and active arts. At the six gro Experience events across the country there will be free workshops to learn to skate, ride BMX, the life of roller derby, creating art, playing music and more! Best of all, the demos and education are free for all girls. But if you’re under
18, don’t forget to bring your parent to sign you up! Friends and family are encouraged to attend.
Top gro Experience off with the first national series for amateur female street skateboarding and several women’s BMX contests and there is something for all abilities. A day devoted to inspiring girls and providing a venue for the experienced to showcase their talent.
“Over the last five year, we have seen the amazing impact these activities have of females. From the young girls driven to progress to the mom who ride her longboard instead of getting in the car the stories are endless. It is time to share not only these stories, but the experience with females everywhere.” Says Courtney Payne Taylor, the organizations founder.

Der Sommer kommt und mit ihm die Roadtrips. Damit ihr für die Sommersaison gewappnet seid, hat DaKine mal nen Rucksack und ne Potte für euer Reisebudget springen lassen und für die kühleren Abende gibts von Ropenoch n paar stylische Socken und nen dicken Zipper in XL dazu.

Wenn ihr den Stuff abräumen wollt, habt ihr folgendes zu tun:
Schickt uns Fotos oder gern auch Videos an yvonne ( at ) suckmytrucks.de –  und zeigt uns, wieso euer alter Rucksack ausgedient hat und ihr unbedingt nen neuen braucht! Einsendeschluß ist der 26. Mai 2011 – am 27. Mai verkünden wir dann den Gewinner.

Hallo zusammen!
Jetzt ist es so weit. Wir gehen in die Vollen und ihr dürft euch ab sofort für das Ladiez 1st Camp 2011 anmelden.
Anmelden? Ja klar!
Wir haben nur eine begrenzte Anzahl an Betten zur Verfügung und möchten einfach vorher wissen wer, wie an dem Event teilnimmt. Wer bleibt über Nacht, wer von den Berliner Workaholics kommt nur nachm Feierabend zum Skaten rum etc…

Die Kosten?
10€ für das Hostel, für den gesamten Zeitraum den ihr dort übernachtet.

Und jetzt noch das Amtliche: Wir planen wieder einige Schmankerl, diese aber auch nur für die Mädels, welche die ganze Zeit da sind und rechtzeitig bescheid geben. Sorry für die, die spontan reinschauen und eventuell mal zu kurz kommen – wir haben euch trotzdem lieb!
