Adidas hat in seiner langen Geschichte mit Nora Vasconcellos, nicht nur die erste weibliche Teamfahrerin in den Pro Status erhoben, sie haben es auch gleich richtig gefeiert und veröffentlichen die lang erwartete kurze Doku „Nora“.

[SKATEISTAN] LAND OF SKATE
As the world continues to divide, in the Land of Skate people are uniting. Children and youth in countries caught up by conflict and inequality are being empowered through skateboarding. The documentary produced by Ghost Digital Cinema, directed by renowned filmmaker Ty Evans and supported by Nimia was filmed on location in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa, and captures breathtaking shots and an often unseen perspective of these countries. It goes behind the doors of Skateistan’s Skate Schools worldwide for the first time, at which over 1,800 children and youth are gaining access to education and opportunities. It delves deeper into the inspiring stories of Latifa, Ahmed, Soso and Srey Pich who, despite living in difficult circumstances, have found a route to empowerment through skateboarding and education. The Land of Skate explores how Skateistan has impacted the lives of children and youth in these locations but also how skateboarding has created a global community in a divisive world. Latifa, Ahmed, Soso and Srey Pich may be from opposite sides of the globe, but they are citizens of the same land, united by skateboarding.

COS Cup Rust: Deutsche Meisterschaft, dies sind die Gewinnerinnen
Es war ein Skateboardkrimi mit einem Ergebnis, mit dem zumindest die Gewinnerin nicht gerechnet hatte und am Ende gab es so gar Freudentränen.
Die neue Deutsche Meisterin, ist Jennifer Schneeweiß aus Göttingen, die zum Görls Rock’n’Roll Skateboarding e.V. gehört.

SMT TV: „Nur noch 60 Sekunden“
Der Winter klopft schon an die Tür, da haben wir etwas altes Material rausgeholt. Der folgende Clip zeigt Caroline Dynybil, im Juni 2017, beim Training in der Skatehalle-Berlin. Ihre Challenge war es, innerhalb von 60 Sekunden mindestens 10 Tricks zu stehen.

„Double Trouble“ 27.10. bis 29.10. in Mönchengladbach
Vom Freitag den 27.10. bis einschließlich Sonntag den 29.10., findet in Mönchengladbach die „Double Trouble“ Stadtmeisterschaft im Skateboarden statt. Vielleicht heisst der Event auch „Halloween Masters“, wir wissen es nicht genau…Hauptsache Skaten!
Dazu gibt es noch Ausstellungen, Best-Trick, Barrel Jump, Highest Ollie und 2500 € Gesamtpreisgeld.Klassen:

Team Frankreich in Barcelona
Das französiche Frauenteam, bestehend aus Chloé BERNARD, Shani BRU, Jeanne DUVAL, Hélène GERARD, Charlotte HYM, Pauliana LAFFABRIER, Laurine LEMIEUX, war in Barcelona unterwegs. Neben diversen Hallen und Parks, sind sie auch jede Menge streetskaten gewesen und dabei heraus kam ein entspannter, schöner Part. Enjoy!
